Today and Tomorrow

Todays training went well. Every week I walk in unsure of whether or not I will be able to make the lifts or not and every week I surprise myself with the strength gains I have made. This week I am making a serious effort to start including at least 3 short met-cons to ensure that I  keep my conditioning up to par.
todays strength workout looked like this.

squat:
245x5/260x5/275x5/290x5/310x5
bench
155/165/175/185/195/
Dead Lift
320/340/360/380/400
Shoulder Press
125/130/140/150/155

Todays Metcon was
5 rounds for time
9 thrusters (95#)
20 Double-Unders

I finished in 8:38

I want to keep all of the met-cons short and super intense for now and include as many explosive movements as possible. Today the thrusters did not provide much of a challenge and I think if you had DU's down pat the weight should definitely be moved up to 135. Someone is good with DU would still be able to finish this WOD very quickly with heavy thrusters as long as they could do 15- 20 consecutive DU through out all 5 rounds.

tomorrows an off day for strength stuff but I plan on getting in a quick met-con as well as some technique work on the clean and snatch.
