Results of the test day
It has only been 2 months since the last time we did this work out. Maybe a few weeks less. That means that at most you guys have been working out for 8 weeks with me twice a week. and some times not even that because of cancellations due to rain or other circumstances. In that short period of time you have taken 1-2 minutes off your mile time added at least 10 to your squat, push-ups, sit-ups in a minute number.
Not only that but each and every one of you made the work out today look easy where as two months ago this was a very difficult work out. All of you have improved Range of motion on your squats and push-ups and have learned numerous new functional movements. Your progress over these few weeks would have been unachievable if you were performing only a traditional program. In addition to your progress in the realm of physical fitness, those of you who have taken the opportunity to read the different articles I post have also gained a great deal of knowledge. Having said all of that each of you have plenty of untapped potential. None of you have reached your potential maximal strength speed or endurance levels, and none of you have been exposed to the full range of what CrossFit has to offer.
So as you take a moment to think back over the short time we have had together and appreciate how far you have come take a moment to also realize how little you have actually experienced and how much more you can achieve. This should not discourage you in fact the fact that you have come so far and yet have also barley scratched the surface of what you are capable of should amaze you. You probably still do not even realize what you are capable of. You are all capable of so much more than you now think. Never limit what you will try because you don't think you can do it. Before your time with this class, you knew you couldn't run a sub ten minute mile, or do 40+ squats in a row. i guess what I am trying to say is YOU CAN ALWAYS DO MORE. so go do it.

Hey bud, I think you've been doing a great job with your blog. I have been following it for the past few weeks now and I really enjoy your content. Crossfit is something I've been hearing a lot about. If you have sometime I'd love for you to check my blog which is about trying to get back into shape and documenting my efforts. It's in its infancy stage right now. Any thoughts would be great. http://vinaykatari.blogspot.com
Without the techniques none of the improvements we each made during yesterday's test would've been possible. A sub 10 min mile--not possible before without EMT being called!
Time for Mile - 8:45!
Sit-ups - 33
Squats - 44
push-ups - 35
