First Day on the Zone
I am participating the in the CrossFit Malibu Zon Challenge yesterday I was down in malibu for the intro where I recieved the journals and got to talk with some people who have had success with the Zone one who has lost 20 pounds and at least 4 inches off his waist in about 4 months. The Challenge is to weigh and measure your food, everything I eat and possibly drink for two weeks. I started the challenge at 240 pounds with around 28% body fat. I have about a month before I am getting married and so I am hoping for some amazing results and quickly. The calculations have me at 20 blocks which is a lot of food so we will see if I can eat it all. Today so far I have had a 3 block breakfast (Cottage cheese, Bannana and peanuts,) a four block Lunch ( Chicken, cheese, 1 slice of bread, bannana, avacado) a 3 block snack( builder bar) and a 4 block dinner ( ground turkey, corn tortillas, black beans, guacamole, sour cream, and wine). That Leaves me at 14 blocks so far today, Suposedly I am supposed to have another 6 blocks before I go to bed. It is 9 oclock in the evening right now and I am not the slightest bit hungry, I will definatley eat a 3 block snack soon in the shape of a builder bar, but that will leave me three blocks short of my block allotment, right now this all seems to good to be true, so I will keep updating my experiences on the zone with recipies that I particularly enjoyed as well as pictures and experiences on the zone.
